As if video game players haven't seen enough delays, including BioShock 2 and Dark Void, a well-known industry analyst is expecting more postponements.In an article from G4's official site, Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter is warning players to get ready for additional game delays, thanks to the pricey The Beatles: Rock Band and DJ Hero, as well as one certain, highly-anticipated first-person shooter. Here's what Pachter tells G4:
If every gamer buys one game this holiday, it's Modern Warfare. If you buy two, it's Modern Warfare and something else. If you buy three, it's Modern Warfare and two others.
The Modern Warfare he's referring to, of course, is Modern Warfare 2 from Infinity Ward. Pachter anticipates an economic rebound in January, and that video game publishers will start staggering out game releases instead of overcrowding the holiday schedule.
